After featuring 50’s icon and a contemporary band from right in the thick of rock’n’roll in the last two issues, December’s UK ROCK’N’ROLL MAGAZINE majors on a band of ne’er-do-wells from right out on the edge of the rockin’ galaxy, but purveyors of a right good jolly-up anyway, URBAN VOODOO MACHINE. Inside the mag is an intro to the band and a review of their Bedford bash written by a newcomer to the rockin’ fermament, RHIANNON MARLEY. All the usual goodies lie within, including reviews of the new CD’s by THE CHEATERSLICKS and JACKSON SLOAN. Enough from me, go search it out – and if you think this month’s cover artiste is a bit out of left-field, wait til next month, it’ll either be the biggest star we’ve ever featured, or it’ll be a giant sudoku. Rock On!
